Do you have any interesting old photos of places in Mid Devon? It can be a street, building, view or even your house! Stockleigh Pomeroy Village Hall committee, in collaboration with Crediton Museum is looking to produce a calendar of your images and stories, so have a rummage through all your old photographs of times gone by. The very best images will be made into the calendar for 2014 and sold in aid of Stockleigh Pomeroy Village Hall.
The winning photographs 12 photographs will be complimented by an up to date photograph of the same locality.
Each successful entrant whose photograph is chosen to feature in the calendar will receive two copies of the finished article. The overall winner will not only have their photo featured on the front cover of the calendar but will also win a meal for two at the Magdalen Chapter, Exeter.
So start searching straight away. Closing date for entries is 17 May 2013 and voting will take place week commencing 10 June 2013. Details of how to vote will be given once the competition has closed.
How to enter
To enter the competition, please download the entry form and take it, together with your old photos of places in Mid Devon (in their raw format) accompanied by a short caption sharing the story behind the photograph (which will also appear in the calendar), to Crediton Museum.
Please ensure you provide your name, address and contact telephone number. We will happily return any original photograph on provision of a stamped addressed envelope.
Entries cost £1 per photograph which can be paid either in cash or by cheque and please make all cheques payable to Stockleigh Pomeroy Village Hall. Each entry should be submitted in a sealed envelope.
