Crediton businesses have responded splendidly to our request for funding help to ensure the future of our museum.
The Chamber of Commerce had already contributed towards the cost of printing the Crediton History Series - our booklets covering different aspects of the history of the area, and local firms have followed that up by joining the Friends group. Pictured right is the display now up in the museum recording their assistance.
Firms featured on the Acknowledgement Board opposite have been joined by Adams of Crediton Ltd, who have always provided invaluable practical help to the museum, and several other local firms are still considering supporting us. Please support them all as often as you can.
The History Society’s fund-raising officer, David Nation, said “We all recognise the difficulties businesses face in the present economic climate so we are especially grateful to these local firms for their commitment to the museum and our community. We still need to improve our financial position in future years but this is a great start.”
