Mary Stephenson has been in touch with CAHMS to tell us about the Penstone History Group. Recently they held an event in Penstone Glade to gather information on the history of Penstone (and Colebrooke and Coleford) and also to display the material they have already compiled.
Mary asks that if any information about Penstone, or indeed about Colebrooke and Coleford, comes to light in our archives or researches, then we share it with them. Eventually the research will be consolidated into some format - possibly a book - for future generations
