We are saddened to announce the recent death of Judi Binks. David Nation has written the following appreciation:
I first met Judi over 30 years ago when we were both elected to Mid Devon District Council for the same party. I soon learned of her interest in local history and her very considerable talents in campaigning, educating and proselytising.
We were fortunate to benefit from Judi's infectious enthusiasm when she arranged speakers for CAHMS' talks programme a year or so ago. She had been unwell for a number of years but seemed not to let that stop her from investing great energy into whatever it was that interested her at any particular time.
We will miss her enormously and we extend our sympathies to her husband Martin, another of our active volunteers, and their family.
