A Christmas bazaar and coffee morning was held to raise funds for the Museum. It all looked very colourful with red tablecloths and autumn berries and there were all sorts of good things to buy. A huge selection of books, cakes, biscuits and preserves, as well as gifts and bric-a-brac. John Heal signed copies of his new booklet ‘The Crediton Workhouses’ and plenty of people came in for coffee and
a chat. A good time was had by all. The sum raised was £161 plus over £80 from sales of booklets.
