Following the AGM, Robin Langhorne spoke about the 1598 Norden Terrier (the word comes from the French terre meaning land and has nothing to do with dogs!). Some years ago Robin had laboriously copied the map from the one in the Devon Record Office and has now had it laminated so it could be passed round for everyone to see. It is a fascinating record of the town and its surroundings in 1598.
