Mid Devon Tractor Engine and Machinery Group working day

Mid Devon Tractor Engine and Machinery Group working day - vintage tractors and other equipment ploughing etc. in a field

When: to September  2016
Where:Guscotts Farm, Coleford, EX17 5DF

The actual site is a field which is not at the farmyard itself, but lies off the Coleford-Bow road. From Coleford, go up the hill towards Bow, pass over the crossroads at Broomhill Cross, down the other side past the Water Pumping Station (on the right) and on round the left curve where the field entrance will be clearly marked on the right hand side. From Bow, take the turning signposted Coleford beside the new Bow Medical Practice and proceed for a couple of miles along the lane towards Coleford. The entrance will be on your left about a quarter of a mile after a dip over a stream and up a sharp incline. There will be a marquee in which there will be covered seating (it's sure to be sunny day in Mid Devon!), refreshments and a raffle. A portable 'loo' will be on site.

Onlookers, photographers and/or anyone interested in the working history of our glorious local countryside are welcome. There is no admission charge.

The land is farmed by Roy White, the son of MDTEMG member Ian. MDTEMG is grateful to the White family for hosting the day.
