This year's exhibition opens on April 10th and is railway-themed. Open Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 1000-1600, and Saturdays 1000-1300
The central theme of this year’s exhibition at the Museum is Crediton Station; the difference the coming of the railway made to the town and the people who have used it over the years. This will include local men going off to war, wounded soldiers coming to the VAD hospitals, local people who worked at the hospitals, evacuees who were billeted locally, day trippers, commuters and holidaymakers. We are also showcasing local trades and industries who sent or received goods by rail. You may even notice a nod to a couple of well-known films.
The exhibition will be open from 10 April until 26 October Wednesdays to Fridays 10:00 – 16:00 and Saturdays 10:00 – 13:00, but will be closed over the Easter weekend.
