Back to the 1950’s at Crediton Museum
This Summer you won’t need a De Lorean to time travel. Just visit Crediton Museum in the Old Town Hall to go back in time to the 1950s. Come and see how many faces you can recognise in our photo displays of 1950’s Crediton and reminisce in our period kitchen and lounge areas.
Find out what films were showing at the Palace Cinema and what were the most popular television programmes. Remember childhood toys and activities and the “golden age” of youth culture in our rock’n’roll display – and so much more.
The exhibition will be open from Wednesday 20 April until Saturday October 29th, on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 to 16:00 and on Saturdays from 10:00 to 13:00.
