A play by Sarah Dickenson, directed by Martin Berry, about the Western rising and siege of Exeter
Set in Cornwall and Devon at the time of the Western uprising, this play depicts a moment in Exeter’s history and gives voice to the women at the centre of a story that still shapes the city and our local communities today. After the performance on Tuesday 22nd October there will be a post-show discussion, hosted by Mark Stoyle (author of the recently published A Murderous Midsummer) with guests including the show’s writer and director.
