A short walk around Crediton’s railway station, taking in an historic signal box (still in operation), old station buildings and evidence of the "third rail" from the Broad Gauge era, with lots to say about the history of the railway in Crediton. Easy walking, less than one mile.

Trains from Exeter St Davids. Services to Barnstaple and to Okehampton stop at Crediton. Some bus services call at the station (check train / bus timetables for details). Free car parking is available nearby.  Refreshments : Limited range of options in the town on Sunday afternoons.

Meet at 2:00pm at Crediton Station – Platform 1.
