In November 2013, a metal detectorist found a hoard of 22,888 Roman coins near Seaton Down in Devon. It is by far the largest coin hoard found in Devon dating back to 350 AD. Assistant Curator of the Royal Albert Memorial Museum of Exeter, Thomas Cadbury counted and categorised the coins and his talk tells us what we can learn about Roman Britain
