Documents relating to the Elizabeth Tuckfield Charity

The extract below from pages 50-51 of "The Report  of the Commissioners concerning Charities containing that part which relates to the County of Devon Vol. III"  (1830) explains the background of "Mrs Tuckfield's Gift":

"Elizabeth Tuckfield, by a codicil to her will, bearing date 19th August 1892, and proved with the will, in the prerogative court of Canterbury, in 1802, gave to James Buller, esq. 3,000l. consolidated three per cent. annuities, upon trust, to transfer the same to the 12 governors of Crediton for the time being, to be by them, and their successors, held upon trust, to apply the interest and dividends thereof yearly, for ever [...]"
