Transcriptions of a random collection of old documents with a Crediton connection.
The lockdown has provided an extended opportunity for some paleography practice for one of CAHMS’s archive volunteers. As she has concentrated on documents with a Crediton connection, we are publishing the transcriptions, partly because they are interesting in their own right of course, but also in the hope that they may be of use to researchers. To facilitate research, we’ve extracted all the personal names in the documents, and listed them below each document link, to make searching easier.
